How can I check whether I need a visa?

Use the National Immigration Administration and the Chinese embassy or consulate serving your place of residence. Check the passport type, permitted purpose, length of stay and policy validity dates that apply to you.

A friend’s eligibility may not match yours. Confirm your own requirements again close to departure, and keep the supporting documents requested for your journey.
